Install MyBB using Softaculous in cPanel

MyBB is a free and open source Forum software. The good thing is, MyBB is an open source project that you can host on your own server for your own community. There are millions of possibilities because every entity in this world has some kind of community around it.

In this article, we will install MyBB on cPanel using Softaculous. Softaculous is a repository of such content management systems and scripts. And it is also responsible for installing a specific CMS or script on your hosting account or server. We just have to provide some mandatory information to install any kind of CMS or script using Softaculous.

Install MyBB using Softaculous on cPanel

1) Login to your cPanel admin panel. You can also log in directly to your cPanel from your hosting account.

2) Go to ‘Softaculous Apps Installer.

3) Click on the icon ‘MyBB’.

4) Click the option ‘Install Now’.

5) Enter the ‘Software Setup’ and ‘Board Settings’ details.

6) Enter the ‘Admin Account’ details and click the ‘Install’ button.

So, this is how you can install MyBB using Softaculous on your Hosting account with cPanel. If you are doing it for the first time, there are some chances that you will face some issue, In that case, just repeat the steps and you are good to go.
