How to Repair Databases in cPanel

In this documentation, we can discuss about how to repair databases in cPanel. When the website gets the following error we do have a provision to check and repair database in cPanel.

1) cpaneluser_database is marked as crashed and needs to be repaired

2) Checking the database

3) Table attribute does not exist,

4) Supplied argument is not a valid

If you are getting the above errors, please do the following steps to check and repair database in cPanel.

 

Checking the Database

1) Login to your cPanel interface.

2) Click on ‘MySQL Database’ icon from the ‘DATABASE’ category.

3) Under the ‘Modify Databases’ section, look for the database from the drop box.

4)  Select the required database name and click on ‘Check Database’.

 

Repairing the Database

1) Move back to the ‘MySQL Database’ menu.

2) Looks for the database in the drop box.

3) Select the required database name.

4) Click on ‘Repair Database’.

5) After successful repair, reload the website.

 

How to Check and Repair Database in phpMyAdmin

1) Log into your cPanel interface.

2) Click the ‘phpMyAdmin’ icon.

3) Choose the database by clicking on it in the left menu.

4) Tables will be listed in the right side. Select the “Check All” option and from the drop down box click on “Check Table”.

5) After checking the table, the result will appear on the screen where it will show OK. Also, results include if any corrupt tables exist. If any error occurred, then repairing will be the option available left.

 

How to repair your tables

1)Log into your cPanel interface.

2) Click the ‘phpMyAdmin’ icon

3) Choose the database by clicking on it in the left menu

4) Tables will be listed in the right side. Select the “Check All” option and from the drop down box click on “Repair Table”.

5) Results will be published with the summarized report.
