MySQL error in cpbackup:
Entering timeout safety mode
Determining mysql dbs…DBD::mysql::st execute failed: There is no such
grant defined for user ‘XXX’ on host ‘XXXX’ at
/usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql.pm line 520.
This error is coming from ‘skip-name-resolv’ in /etc/my.cnf If you have remote mysql connections skip name resolve is faster because no dns lookup is done on the mysql connection, so we recommend leaving that on.
If you have no remote mysql connections then removing the skip name resolve will have no impact on connection speed. For additional security you want want skip-networking added so mysql does not listen on port 3306 and no remote connections are possible.
