Enable Force Password Change for cPanel Accounts

This option is mainly used by the resellers. For security purpose, if the reseller wants to reset the password of the cPanel users you can use these option. Because manually changing and updating the passwords to the user is not an easy way. This future allows forcing to reset the user password by the user itself. When you have enabled these option when a user tries to login to the cPanel the system prompts cPanel users to change their passwords.

1) Login to WHM.

2) Navigate to the account function by clicking on the option “Account Function”.

3) Click on the button “Force Password Change”.

4) By clicking on the above option the screen will navigate to a page which listing all of the available users, you can select the whole account or as per the need. Then click on the option “Submit”.

Now the “Force Password Change” option has been enabled for the selected users. When the user login to the cPanel account, the users will get into the page by prompting a message that the administrator has requested you to change your password.

The system will not allow them to access the full functionality of the cPanel interface until they change their password.
