In cPanel & WHM, our AutoSSL system will notify the customers by sending an email to the cPanel contact email address when there is a successful renewal, expiration, or installation failure. We can enable or disable the notifications of AutoSSL certificates expiry when AutoSSL cannot renew a certificate, AutoSSL cannot add any additional domains, SSL Certificate Expiry, SSL Certificate Expires Soon. Clients will receive numerous emails about it on a regular basis. They are usually regarding the automatic installation, expiration, and renewal of the certificate for that domain. Administrators, web hosts, resellers and, clients themselves have the option to disable AutoSSL email notifications. Clients can disable it themselves in 4 easy steps. If you want to modify the email notifications, we can do this by managing the “Contact Information” interface in cPanel. In this documentation, we are going to discuss how to disable the notifications of SSL and AutoSSL certificates on cPanel.

3) On the next page, you will see multiple options related to AutoSSL. Following are the options related to SSL.

1) AutoSSL cannot request a certificate because all of the domains on the website have failed DCV. The system will notify you if an AutoSSL certificate will expire soon.

2) AutoSSL defers certificate renewal because a domain on the current certificate has failed DCV. The system only sends this notification when a certificate is in the latter half of its renewal period.

3) AutoSSL will not secure a new domain because a domain on the current certificate has failed DCV. The system only sends this notification when a certificate is not yet in the latter half of its renewal period.

4) AutoSSL has renewed a certificate, but the new certificate lacks at least one domain that the previous certificate secured.

5) AutoSSL has renewed a certificate, but the new certificate lacks one or more of the website’s domains.

6) SSL certificate expiry. The system will notify you if a non-AutoSSL certificate will expire soon.
