How to Reset cPanel Password of an Account from WHM?

cPanel is used in conjunction with the WebHost Manager or WHM. WHM provides administrative control of your dedicated server or VPS. You can use WHM to create individual accounts, add domains to your server. Each account we create from WHM consist of a domain name, and it has a username and password too. We can access the cPanel via the link: https://yourdomain:2083. In this tutorial let’s have a look into how we can reset the cPanel password from WHM.

1) Login to the WHM of your server via the link https://yourIPaddress:2087 or https://serverhostname:2087.

2) Select list accounts from Account information >> List accounts.

3) In list accounts on to the left-hand side of the preferred account, click on the expand option near to it.

4) Now, the WHM will display a change password option as shown below.

At last, enter the new password in the option box and click on the button change. It will change the password of the particular account. Hence we have learned to change the password of a cPanel account from WHM.
