Right now, the internet is built with the website built with content management systems. For example, WordPress powers more than 300k websites from the top 1,000,000 websites on the internet. And WordPress is not alone in serving the people with a content management system. Drupal is also a content management system that powers more than 500k websites on the internet. As it is an open-source content management system, you can customize it however you want. That is why many popular websites on the internet are built with Drupal.
If you have a web hosting account, you can easily install Drupal on your domain name. Normally, when you want to set up a PHP project, you have to create a database, download files, and connect the codebase with the database. But Drupal is also available with the Softaculous, it allows us to install content management systems like WordPress and Drupal without any technical knowledge. So, Let’s get started with the tutorial.
Install Drupal from Softaculous
First of all, log in to your cPanel account. In cPanel, search for the Softaculous Apps Installer using the search function and click on it to navigate to Softaculous.
Once you are there, look for the Drupal option in the list of popular applications. If you cannot find it on the main page, use the search option and find Drupal just like the following image.
Now, You will see a page containing all the information about drupal. It will show you information like reviews, ratings, size of the code and much more along with the button to install Drupal on your domain.
After clicking on an Install Now button, you will see a form containing fields to set information like Admin information and Site information. The installation form looks like the following image.
After entering all the required information, click on the Install Now button given at the bottom of the page. It will take a few minutes to install Drupal. Once it is installed, you will see a success message along with the links to your site and admin panel.
