Install Joomla from Softaculous

Joomla powers millions of websites on the internet. It is a content management system that allows you to create a website or a blog without technical knowledge or a programmer. Many popular websites use Joomla because of its flexibility and scalability. It also provides thousands of free extensions that you can use to improve the functionality of your site. As it is an open-source content management system, you can also modify it according to your requirements.

You do not need any technical knowledge to set up a website on Joomla. Softaculous is an auto-installer that allows you to install Joomla with few clicks. If you are using FastyCloud web hosting, you can access Softaculous directly from your cPanel account. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to install Joomla from Softaculous. You can follow screenshots given after every step.

First of all, log in to your cPanel account and click on the Softaculous Apps Installer option.

On this page, you might find Joomla in the Top Script section. If you can’t you can use the search option in Softaculous and click on it.

On this page, you can see all the important information about Joomla. You can see ratings, versions, required size and a brief. Click on the Install button just as highlighted below.

Now, select the Software setup and Site settings. Here you have to enter basic information about your store and some technical modifications if you want to make. If you want to install Joomla on a domain name, keep the In Directory field empty.

In the last two sections of the form, Enter the admin login information and select language if you want. Finally, click on the Install button to start the installation.

It might take a few minutes to install Joomla. Once it is done, you will see a success message just like the following image.
