The supplier is someone who supplies you the product so that you can sell them on your E-commerce store. A Manufacturer can be a supplier but a supplier is not a manufacturer. If you are using Prestashop, you can manage Suppliers and Manufacturers separately in your system. Prestashop also provides a dedicated interface to manage Manufacturers and Suppliers.
In this short tutorial, I am going to show you How to manage suppliers in Prestashop. So, Let’s get started.
Manage Suppliers in Prestashop
To navigate to Supplier Management Interface, Click on the Catalog -> Suppliers option from the left sidebar. Follow the screenshots along with the post for easy understanding.
On this page, you will see a list of suppliers available in your store. To add a new supplier, click on the Add new supplier option given at the top-right corner of the page.
Now, Enter all the supplier details like Name, Description, Phone number, and much more. You can also add a logo for the supplier.
After filling up all the information, click on the Save button given at the bottom-right corner of the page to apply the changes.
If you want to edit or delete a supplier, you can click on the dropdown icon beside the View button corresponding to the supplier you want to update or delete. See the following screenshot to easily locate the options.
So, this is how you can manage suppliers in your Prestashop store. It is a fairly easy process and it can also improve the overall structure and the management of your store.
