Softaculous also keeps track of your backups so that you can restore them whenever you want. For example, when a site faces a Japanese keyword hack. In that situation, the only way to save your website from a penalty by google and a burning reputation is the backups.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to restore WordPress backup using Softaculous. It does not require you to have any kind of technical knowledge. Restore WordPress Backup using Softaculous
First of all, log in to your cPanel account. Then, scroll down to the SOFTWARE section or search for it in the search bar. In the software section, you will find Softaculous Apps Installer. Click on that option to navigate to the Softaculous interface.
Once you are in Softaculous, click on the backups and restore button given at the top-right corner of the page. See the following screenshot to properly locate the button as that button does not contain any label.
On this page, you will see many WordPress backups. You can select the appropriate backup file that you want to restore. Then go to the corresponding backup file and click on the “Restore” button.
In this step, you will get two options. You can either restore the database as well as directory, database only and directory only. It’s your choice. You can select the things you want to restore from that backup. Check the things that you want to restore and click on the Restore Installation button given at the bottom of the page.
It will start the backup process instantly. Once your backup is successfully restored, you will see a success message just like the following image.
